Prior to his appointment at Behaviorally, He was senior manager, social listening at Haleon and has worked for companies including Kantar, Nielsen and the Walt Disney Company.

Nichole Gu, managing director of Asia-Pacific at Behaviorally, said: “We are so delighted to have Francis join the Behaviorally team to help support our customers in the region.

“It is exciting to see our team rapidly grow and Francis’ expertise and experience in a range of industries will be a valuable addition to our team to support our strategic vision throughout Asia.”

New retail research tools
Behaviorally has also announced the launch of two services to help understand shoppers’ behaviours when seeing, interacting and purchasing across physical, digital and social channels.

ShelfPath and DecisionPath will be offered to clients within Behaviorally’s suite of services TransactionPath, which helps to understand the drivers behind consumer choices in the retail sector.

ShelfPath allows users to understand the shopper journey in stores, online or across social channels via video-based responses and behaviour observation.

DecisionPath works by quantifying, mapping and explaining consumer decisions along the path-to-purchase by integrating analytics and choice modelling.

Nisha Yadav, senior vice-president at Behaviorally, said: “I am especially proud of our new ShelfPath approach which allows us to capture behaviour and reactions in the moment.

“As we continue to innovate and push forward in our strategy to be relentlessly future-focused, this is just another step forward in our evolution.”
