Be Heard set to buy MMT

UK – New digital marketing group, Be Heard, has announced its planned acquisition of design, build and user experience agency MMT for £20 million.

This is the second acquisition by the group founded by former Aegis chief executive, Peter Scott – it bought Agenda21 in November 2015 as part of its ‘buy and build’ strategy to develop its marketing and technology group.

The purchase will consist of an initial £5.1m and a deferred £15.4m subject to meeting specific performance criteria.

MMT Digital was founded in 1999, and currently employs 63 people across two locations, with offices in central London and Uppingham. In the year to March 2015, MMT Digital achieved pre-tax profits of £1.1 million.
