ASC to produce Research Technologist Hall of Fame

The Research Technologist Hall of Fame, announced at the ASC’s November conference in London, will be an ongoing initiative to celebrate individuals whose contributions as technologists in the research and insight sector have helped to shape the industry.
ASC plans to induct a small number of members to the Hall of Fame once or twice a year, with the first round of inductions taking place early next year.
The Ipsos-sponsored initiative will complement ASC’s annual Technology Innovation award in association with MRS, presented annually to a company or team as part of the MRS Awards.
AJ Johnson, chief operating officer at Mediaprobe and a director of ASC said: “In a world where technology increasingly drives the insights industry forward, the pioneers and long-term contributors behind the technology can go unrecognised. Our aim is for the Research Technologist Hall of Fame to acknowledge and celebrate the impact these professionals have made both past and present.”
Shaun Fisher, chief operating officer, UK & Ireland at Ipsos, said: “We are working with supplier partners and colleagues every day on the operational side, who are quietly going about their business transforming this industry and making a huge difference. The opportunity to make sure that is properly celebrated was just too good to miss.”
