US— Erica Farber has been re-appointed as a director of radio audience measurement firm Arbitron. She previously sat on the board of the company from March 2001 to July 2006.
Farber is currently the chief executive officer of a radio consulting and internet service provider, The Farber Connection firm, which she founded in 2010. In 2000 her experience within the industry was recognised when she received an American Broadcast Pioneer Award from the Broadcaster’s Foundation.
Philip Guarascio, chairman of the Arbitron board of directors, said: “We are especially pleased that Erica has accepted our invitation to rejoin our board. Her background will provide us with a valuable perspective and will be especially useful in guiding Arbitron’s development and growth”.
