US social media marketing firm Fanscape has appointed CHRISTINA MEJIA as director of research and analytics, BITHIKA MEHRA as research and analytics coordinator and CLEA SHEARER as senior manager of social media marketing.

PAUL HEWITT has been named non-executive chairman of the board at UK customer interaction software firm Portrait Software. He is a chartered accountant and currently serves as chairman of business consultancy YSC.

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has appointed RUSSELL ARONS as senior vice president of worldwide marketing. Avons joins from Electronic Arts where she was head of marketing for the EA Play division.

ELISE NEEL has been promoted to national sales manager of the digital media measurement team at US research agency InsightExpress. She was previously a director of the same team.

ARASH AMEL has been promoted to research director for digital media at US home entertainment research agency Screen Digest.

US customer satisfaction measurement agency ForeSee Results has appointed KEVIN ERTELL as vice president of retail strategy. He previously worked at Borders.com and TowerRecords.com.

Edigital Research in the UK has hired DAVID GRAY as senior web developer and promoted ROBERT PIASEK to infrastructure systems manager.

The Wyndham Hotel Group has appointed FLO LUGLI as executive vice president of marketing, where she will oversee all research, analytics and direct marketing activities. She joins distribution firm Travelport.

Cambridge Market Research has appointed MARGARET FRAZER as the research director of a new business unit that will focus on the future development of the company’s client base in both the public and private sector. Frazer is a former principal consultant with York Consulting and was previously employed by Ipsos Mori, working on social policy and corporate research.

Qforma, an analytics and predicitive modelling company based in New Mexico, has appointed MARK GROVE as SVP sales, new business, and ROD ANAFORIAN and KIM FOSTER as field operations directors. DEAN KLEYN has been promoted to vice president of sales and services.
