Before joining Adelaide, Wadsworth-Drake (pictured) was regional vice-president of client solutions, west and central, at Foursquare, where he led teams responsible for measurement strategies.

Prior to Foursquare, Wadsworth-Drake was at location insights firm Placed, which was purchased by Foursquare from Snap Inc in 2019.

In his new role at Adelaide, Wadsworth-Drake will help expand the business’ presence in the US, manage regional marketing strategy and brand partnerships and help generate new business.

Adelaide is focused on attention-based media quality measurement, and has a media investment metric called AU that helps predict consumer attention.

Marc Guldimann, chief executive at Adelaide, said: “John’s unique experience gives him insight into what it takes to develop strong client relationships and drive growth.

“This skill set is essential to the success of our business as Adelaide expands.

“With a proven ability to lead teams and a deep understanding of the measurement space, we are confident John will help our clients achieve better advertising outcomes.”
