UK— Added Value has appointed its UK managing director Bart Michels to the new role of head of global clients.
The firm says the new executive board-level role puts Michels in charge of global client strategy for brands including Heineken and PepsiCo, and he will work with client directors across all the company’s 23 offices in 14 countries.
Michels will report to global CEO Janine Hawkins. While continuing as UK MD, he will be supported by Paul Cowper, who has been promoted to deputy UK MD.
Hawkins said: “Bart’s focus will ensure that our major clients benefit from global collaboration and thought leadership. I am delighted he has agreed to take on this challenge, and I am sure that he and Paul will prove to be a very successful partnership in leading the UK business.”
