Gilding to lead Gannett brand research and strategy
Gilding will report in to Maryam Banikarim, Gannett’s chief marketing officer, and will be responsible for producing consumer, brand and market insights to support Gannett’s brands and its advertising partners.
She joins the company from In:site, a strategy and planning advisory group within Omnicom. Prior to that she was a strategist for Omnicom’s Diversified Agency Services and was a founding partner of the group’s G23 agency, which focused on communications to women.
“This is an exciting time to join Gannett,” said Gilding. “There’s a fundamental shift in the relationship between consumers and the media today.”
