Solomon resigns as head of Media Research Users Council
Sabina Solomon (pictured) has told the Indian press (see here and here) that she will remain with the MRUC until the end of January. But she has been tight-lipped over her plans for the future and the reasons for her departure, saying only that she feels she has “outgrown” the MRUC after more than four years there.
In August MRUC agreed to merge its Indian Readership Survey with the National Readership Survey carried out by NRSC.
First results from the new merged survey are expected in the second half of 2010, but no supplier has yet been picked to handle the research.
