YouthSight research helps launch Which? University website

UK— Which? has launched a new website for prospective university students based on primary research carried out by YouthSight.

The main part of the research was a survey of 9,600 current university students who rated their university on criteria such as sports, the strength of the student union and local nightlife.

The results of this survey were merged with existing datasets including the National Student Survey, Destination of Leavers of Higher Education Survey and the HESA student record.

Ben Marks, managing director at YouthSight, said: “Which? needed to be sure the research it commissioned would be conducted with real students with verified identities. It also needed to be confident respondents’ comments would be fulsome and helpful enough to include in the website.”
