WiseWorks secures venture capital investment

CANADA – Canadian digital research solutions and technology business WiseWorks has secured investment from venture capital firm Hygiia.

The two companies have not disclosed the amount of money involved, but the investment will be used by WiseWorks to focus on new products.

Ryan Kagan, strategic adviser at Hygiia, has been appointed chief finance officer at WiseWorks following the deal.

He joins Hygiia president Gaurav Agarwal at WiseWorks, where Agarwal is chief executive.

Pratik Sharma is senior vice-president of Hygiia and chief operating officer at WiseWorks, while Nimai Sharma is vice-president of Hygiia and general manager and assistant vice-president of sales at WiseWorks.
