Verve to launch in South Africa

UK & SOUTH AFRICA – Community panels and digital research business Verve is opening a research centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on 1st December.

Heather Tluczek and Meryl Dovey

The company has appointed managing director Heather Tluczek (pictured, left) and head of new business development Meryl Dovey (pictured, right) to lead Verve Africa.

Both join Verve from InSites Consulting, where Tluczek was managing director for South Africa and Dovey held the role of senior business director.

In the first quarter of 2022, Verve Africa plans to build a team of 10 to 15 researchers who will work across Verve group client accounts.

The team will also support growing demand from multi-national and local clients across the African subcontinent.

Andrew Cooper, founder and chief executive of Verve, said: “Heather and Meryl are two brilliant researchers, but equally importantly, are absolutely natural expressions of the Verve culture – it was impossible for us not to want to work together and set out on this exciting journey.”
