UK – Culture and communities insight company Verve has launched ‘People & Planet’, a proposition focused on environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy.
Led by Verve executive director Anna Williams and ESG director Dan Alexander-Head, the offer will use research specialisms including behavioural science and semiotics.
People & Planet will draw on culture and trends insight from Verve’s networks, The Ignite Collective and CoLab, to understand both “lifestyle innovators” and mainstream consumers and their motivations when it comes to ESG, according to the company.
The division will work with brands to help them develop ESG strategies and initiatives. Areas of focus include brand alignment, product development and regulatory compliance.
Andrew Cooper, chief executive and founder, Verve, said: “There is, rightly, significant focus on ESG by government, investors, and in turn the c-suite, of corporates globally. And while big strategic ambitions are being laid down from high, where is the customer being heard in all of this? People & Planet @Verve is all about bringing the voice of the consumer into the ESG conversation.”
