Trajectory updates Glimpses database with international research

UK

UK— Trajectory Partnership has overhauled the Glimpses trends database it acquired last year, adding a new subscription service that allows comparisons to be drawn between consumers in 20 countries.

Online panel company Research Now has been hired by Trajectory to field 60,000 surveys each year to people in the UK, the US, Brazil, Russia, China, India, Japan, France and Germany, among others.

Questions have been designed to match with academic trends studies, Trajectory said. Managing partner Paul Flatters (pictured) added: “The analysis team here at Trajectory will be working directly with clients looking to launch new products and communications programmes internationally. We will also be building a body of evidence accessible to subscribers for day-to-day use.”

Access to the original Glimpses database remains free. It collates academic studies, official statistics and other other published work on social and consumer trends, organised into eight categories covering globalisation, lifestyle and consumer behaviour, identity and values, media and technology, politics, socio-demographics, the economy and sustainability.
