UK— Online research agency Tpoll has launched a new tool for conducting online qualitative research.
The new Tqual tool is being offered to clients as a standalone service or in combination with the firm’s existing quantitative survey and communities platform.
Tqual allows users to create online discussion groups of up to 20 respondents, with both moderators and respondents able to upload videos to the service.
Tpoll said that moderators and respondents do not need to be online at the same time, which allows respondents from “any location” to take part and answer questions in their own time.
The firm added that by giving respondents more time to answer questions, the Tqual tool is “particularly suitable for sensitive subjects”.
Tpoll CEO Mark Ursell (pictured) said: “The tool integrates with our survey and community software so our clients can combine qualitative and quantitative research on one platform. As the technology is maintained in-house and delivered online, this is an affordable tool for our clients without any hidden surprises and can be scaled to meet customer needs.”
