UK— Toluna has integrated its research community management platform with Facebook to allow brands to build and run fan panels from within the social networking site.
The PanelPortal Connect tool allows brands to invite Facebook fans to register for the panel, complete their profile information and take part in polls, surveys and discussions.
Technology practice lead Mark Simon (pictured) says the idea is to help those brands who already own their own panels to “turbo-charge their recruitment” while brands without panels can get more out of their Facebook pages.
