TNS-BMRB sheds five staff amid public sector spending cuts

People UK

UK— Public and social research agency TNS-BMRB has cut five jobs as the company and country prepare for vastly reduced public sector spending.

The firm told Research that redundancy consultations with a “small number” of staff had started last month, which have resulted in five people in “junior to middle management positions” leaving the company.

A TNS spokesperson said that some of the five turned down redeployment within the firm and opted for redundancy.

The firm added that the redundancies “reflect current conditions in the public sector”, but added that “no further cuts are planned”.
