The Student Room acquires Vincent Consulting
Vincent Consulting has been rebranded as TSR Insight, a new research arm within The Student Room. Led by Vincent Consulting’s founder Julie Vincent (pictured, left), it will expand the website’s research, insight and data services in the education, government and consumer sectors.
Founded in 2001, The Student Room has over three million registered members, primarily aged between 14-24.
Pete Barnes, managing director at The Student Room (pictured, right), said the acquisition will “help existing and new clients in the world of youth marketing gain deeper insights into the motivations and concerns of young people”.
Vincent added: “The team at Vincent Consulting are excited to be part of this next evolution of The Student Room. We can offer clients consultancy and research expertise coupled with a vastly enhanced offer through the launch of TSR Insight.”
Following the deal, The Student Room obtains a second office in Sheffield in addition to its Brighton head office. The terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
