AUSTRALIA – Australian research industry representative body The Research Society has appointed Angus Hunter as chief executive.
Hunter replaces Elissa Molloy, who had led The Research Society for around 16 years. Hunter started his role on 16th August.
Before joining The Research Society, Hunter was digital delivery manager at New South Wales’s department of education.
Hunter also had prior roles at Aperion Law, Sydney Film School and Breaking Rocks Marketing.
A statement from The Research Society said: “Throughout his career Angus has been a passionate advocate for bringing the voice of the customer into not only product and service development but also into business strategy.
“The Research Society believe Angus brings an ideal mix of marketing skills, strategic thinking, general management experience and an appreciation for our industry and what we do from a commercial practice perspective.”
