AUSTRALIA – Boutique Australian research businesses DBM Social and 3arc by DBM are being brought together and rebranded by their parent company The Illuminera Group.
The Illuminera Group said that following the sale of its DBM Atlas division to RFI Global, it would rebrand the two boutiques as 3arc Social and 3arc.
DBM Social was set up in 2021 to carry out research and evaluation in the public sector, and under its new identity as 3arc Social will continue to focus on strategic insights to federal and state governments.
3arc by DBM was set up as a commercial research agency in 2022 and will simply be known as 3arc.
Kerry Sproston, managing director at 3arc Social, said: “I’m excited to join forces with 3arc and continue to expand into new disciplines. Our passion is to help inform policy initiatives that make a difference to vulnerable populations.”
Matthew Bond, managing director at 3arc, said: “With the backing of Illuminera and the recent formal connection with Kerry and her team, our capabilities, opportunities, and offerings have been significantly enhanced.
“This collaboration further demonstrates our dedication to delivering and creating new and improved solutions to the market.”
Chris Riquier, chief executive officer international at The Illuminera Group, added: “It is a vision of our group to continually foster the growth of new boutiques worldwide, owned and led by the founders of these businesses.
“Kerry and Matt have exhibited the entrepreneurship and innovation required to carve out a unique capability in the Australian market and join our 12 existing boutiques and 200 consultants spanning insight, strategy, and integrated end-to-end marketing solutions.”
