Tetra Tech to acquire PA Consulting’s international development practice

US— Engineering consulting firm Tetra Tech has signed a definitive agreement to acquire PA Consulting Group’s US-based international development consulting business practice.

Tetra Tech said that the deal would bring market research, modelling and utility performance improvement skills to its consulting business.

The sections of PA’s business Tetra Tech is buying focus on international energy and infrastructure consulting services which generate around $35m in annual revenue, according to a statement.

More than 120 employees will transfer over to Tetra Tech’s technical support services team once the acquisition is completed.
