UK – Bloom, a professional networking group for women in marketing and communications, has begun a consultation on work-life balance.

The survey covers topics including work arrangements and mental health, and is open to women working in marketing and communications.

Bloom UK is seeking to understand whether current policies and initiatives in the workplace are helping to support work-life balance for women, with a particular focus on how different groups are impacted.

“Concerns about work-life balance are cited as a key factor in women’s continued underrepresentation in particular job roles. But most studies into work-life balance only consider gender divides and lump women together into one homogenous group,” the organisation wrote on LinkedIn.

The organisation will use the results of the research to develop guidance for the marketing and communications industries.
