GlobalData buys Stylus
The acquisition was completed on 8th July and will see Stylus expand its reach and capabilities with additional resources, regional scale, and new tools, data and AI.
As a result of the transaction, Stylus will join GlobalData’s innovation intelligence portfolio.
The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
Stylus was founded in 2009 and is headquartered in London, focusing on helping businesses understand consumer trends.
The deal to acquire Stylus follows on from GlobalData’s recent acquisition of AI consumer insights platform Ai Palette.
Mike Danson, chief executive at GlobalData, said: “This acquisition represents a strengthening of GlobalData’s consumer innovation intelligence solution by combining our proprietary data and AI platform with Stylus’s leading insights on consumer trends as well as leveraging the technology capability of our recent Ai Palette acquisition.”
Max Worth, managing director and chief technology officer at Stylus, said: “This week’s announcement marks a pivotal moment and the start of an exciting new era for Stylus. I'm incredibly proud of what the team have achieved and built over the past 15 years.
“Stylus has played a critical role in redefining the trends landscape – shifting the industry from narrow silos to a dynamic, cross-sector powerhouse. And now, with GlobalData, I believe we will be uniquely positioned to bring in a new era of trends intelligence.”
