Starcom MediaVest Group expands Rentrak deal

US— Brand communications agency Starcom MediaVest Group has signed an expanded contract to receive both local and national TV audience figures from Rentrak.

The deal includes access to StationView Essentials data from 20 major and mid-sized markets, as well as national ratings information via the TV Essentials tool.

Helen Katz, Starcom’s senior vice president of research, said: “By continuing to explore more granular TV data, we can help our [advertising] clients learn more about national and local television behaviour in a long tail viewing environment.”
