Signal AI buys Social 360
Headquartered in London, Social 360 analyses online content from around 90m sources, including social media, and political and regulatory content. The company works with clients in the US, Emea and Apac.
Signal is also based in London, with offices in New York and Hong Kong. The company analyses external data across 226 markets and 75 languages to navigate industry trends, manage reputational shifts and mitigate risks.
The acquisition expands Signal’s risk intelligence and will consolidate the two companies’ data sources. The deal will also bring new services, including Social 360’s corporate influencer monitoring tool and pharmaceutical monitoring, to Signal AI.
Complementing Signal AI’s media data, Social 360 has also built a source list of online voices that can impact the reputation of organisations.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Ryszard Bublik, chief executive, Social 360, said the acquisition would create a business with a “360 degree view of online content across every channel” and offer clients “visibility of the issues that matter for reputation and risk”.
