UK – UK sensory and product consumer research outfit Sensory Dimensions has been acquired by international consumer research company SAM Sensory and Consumer Research.
SAM, part of Eurofins Scientific, the pharma and cosmetic testing firm, has facilities across France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Morocco, China and the USA.
The deal will see Sensory Dimensions renamed as SAM-Sensory Dimensions. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
Sensory Dimensions managing director Tracey Sanderson will remain with the business and take on the role of managing director of SAM-Sensory Dimensions.
The two businesses have worked together for several years and SAM said the deal will mean that the combined entity can offer services on a larger global scale and provide increased market coverage to its clients.
Sensory Dimensions works across a number of sectors including food, healthcare and pet food.
