US – Online sample validation company SampleChain has changed its name to Research Defender to reflect its services in online research quality.
SampleChain was founded in 2018 and is based in New Orleans.
The company’s tools and services are used to prevent sample fraud and duplication, exclude ‘professional respondents’, analyse open-ended responses for negative attributes and prevent bad actors from joining a panel.
Vignesh Krishnan, founder and chief executive, Research Defender, said: “Through a deliberative process we determined that our previous name was not representative of the various ways we help our clients. Going forward we have a clear message as to the costs associated with sample fraud and poorly engaged respondents.”
