UK – Market research tech company Big Sofa has appointed Richard Collins to the newly created position of chief customer officer.
Collins (pictured) was previously managing director for EMEA at FocusVision and he also founded the first international office for Decipher Inc. in London (known as Decrypt). He has also held senior positions with Confirmit, Pulse Train and SPSS/IBM.
At Big Sofa he will be responsible for managing the company’s growing global client base. Collins’ appointment follows that of Amanda Boote who joined last month as global head of marketing and business development.
Simon Lidington, CEO, said: “Richard’s appointment coincides with our expansion both into the UK and in the US, and I know he is the right person to manage and support our rapidly expanding global client base.”
