US— Online qualitative research software and tools provider Revelation has released a text visualisation and search tool, Word Trees.
Word Trees is integrated directly into the Revelation Project online qualitative research platform. It is designed to be an advanced text visualisation and search tool that saves researchers the need to export their data to another tool to conduct their content analysis.
Revelation says it will go beyond word clouds, which show the frequency of mentions, by revealing the different contexts in which a word or phrase appears within a body of text. Researchers will be able to filter words by participant, activity, segment and other factors.
Steve August (pictured), CEO of Revelation, says the tool should “help researchers speed analysis of their research, and ultimately produce insights.”
