Research industry marks employee ownership day
The three companies, all of which are employee-owned, are taking part in the initiative by the Employee Ownership Association (EOA), which represents businesses which are employee owned or transitioning to employee ownership across the UK.
The leaders of the three firms will be presenting a session together championing the employee ownership model at the Market Research Society (MRS) Agency Owners and Leaders’ Conference in London on 23rd November.
The MRS conference will promote learning, networking and collaboration focused on boosting growth, attracting investment, winning new business and creating great places to work, with a programme to be announced in July 2023.
James de le Vingne, chief executive at the EOA, said: “Companies such as MM-Eye, DJS and The Nursery are great examples of the economic and social benefits that can be achieved when employees have a stake and a say in the business in which they work.
“Since it started 11 years ago, the reach of Employee Ownership Day and the scale of the employee ownership sector has grown, with both having more than doubled in the past few years.
“Now, we have the opportunity to accelerate the pace of growth and reach even wider audiences to shout about employee ownership and its impact.”
