US— The Pew Research Centre’s Project for Excellence in Journalism (PEJ) has signed up Crimson Hexagon’s ForSight platform to support its research into traditional and new media.
The PEJ study uses a range of research methods to track the “transformation of journalism in a changing information landscape”, including ongoing studies into news content, surveys about changing news consumption, tracking key industry trends and analysis of events in the news.
Crimson Hexagon’s platform will be used to gather perspectives from social media users. Patricia Gottesman, the firm’s CEO, said: “Pew Research Centre has some of the highest standards for the accuracy and relevance of its research and we’re immensely proud to be an important part of their work.”
