The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research and consumer insight industry. This week: ImpactRx, The Marx Group, GfK Austria, MediaCom, Vodafone Ghana, The Futures Company, Cogent Research, Research Now, The Providence Journal, HawkPartners, Ask Insight, Morris Hargreaves McIntyre, Insight Research Group, ABI Research, Zoom Media, TNS and Kadence.

US pharma market research agency ImpactRx has promoted MARK DEGANTANO to SVP of client service operations, where he will lead the firm’s advanced analytics, custom MR and syndicated analytics teams.

JOHN NODSON has been appointed senior vice president of market research at US automotive strategy and marketing firm The Marx Group. His last role was business development manager within the engine management division at Standard Motor Products.

GfK Austria has hired ANTONIA FURTNER to lead its new marketing sciences department. She joins the firm from Ipsos in Germany, where she was senior research analyst in the marketing science team.

MediaCom has hired JUAN LAVERDE to lead its data analytics division. He was previously metrics director at OMD.

UCHE OFODILE has been named chief marketing officer at Vodafone Ghana, where she will be responsible for developing market strategy, generating insight and corporate communications. She previously led the strategy and brand department at the firm.

The Futures Company has appointed DENIZ ERDEM as European business development and sales director. She joins from Planet Retail where she was business development director.

In the US, Cogent Research has hired CHRISTOPHER SAVIO and STEVE SIXT as projects directors. Savio was previously an associate vice president at Chatham Partners while Sixt was a research manager at Valient Solutions.

Research Now in the US has promoted JASON SHEPPARD from VP of US sales operations to SVP of global sales operations, JAMI PULLEY from VP of sales for the Southern US to VP of client development in Southeastern America and Latin America, CHRIS WALLACE from director of client development to VP of client development and ASHLEY HARLEN from director of corporate communication to VP of corporate communications.

DEBORAH TOMILSON has been appointed divisional vice president of audience, business development and digital at The Providence Journal. She has been with the paper since 2005.

US marketing consultancy HawkPartners has named ALEX AIN as a partner in the business. He previously ran his own consulting firm for the past 13 years.

RICHARD NOON has been appointed research director at Ask Insight in the UK. Noon previously worked at Zussi Research and the Daily Mail & General Trust Group.

UK-based research agency Morris Hargreaves McIntyre has hired JO TAYLOR as a consultant. She was previously head of marketing and communications at the Wales Millennium Centre.

Insight Research Group in the US has appointed STEVE BECKER and JAMES STREIT as directors. Becker joins from Hall & Partners while Streit was previously at ML Rogers.

MEAGHAN ROACHE has been named primary research analyst at ABI Research in the US. Before taking up her new role she was primary research project manager at In-Stat.

DAN ROSENFELD has been appointed director of research and insights at Zoom Media & Marketing in the US. He was previously at A&E TV Networks where he was programme and market research manager for the History Channel.

TNS in the UK has hired ANDY TURTON as client services director within the automotive division. He was most recently CEO of auto industry consultancy TRG iSKY.

BARBARA GOURLEY has joined Kadence International as insights director and UK board member. She was previously a member of the telecom, media and entertainment practice at Capgemini.
