Panel provider halts survey invites in aftermath of Japanese quake

JAPAN— Online sample supplier Research Panel Asia has put survey invites on hold in Japan following the earthquake and subsequent tsunami which devastated north-eastern parts of the country on Friday.

Invites have been on hold since Friday and the firm said no decision has yet been made on when they would resume.

Rival firm Research Now, by contrast, said it was “not directly impacted by the recent earthquake and after-effects and will continue to operate its panels as normal”.

  • Editor’s note: The article has been updated to make clear that only survey invites have been put on hold, rather than all Japanese project work, as previously stated. Apologies for any confusion.

We hope you enjoyed this article.
