US — Tom Palmer has been appointed as advertising and brand research agency Ameritest’s president, taking over from founder Chuck Young.
Palmer (pictured), who will be based in the agency’s Chicago office, was previously executive vice president and global account director at Ipsos. Prior to that he had been managing director of the consumer insights business at OTX Research, which was acquired by Ipsos.
“The timing is right for us as we enter the next stage of our growth," said Young. "Tom’s experience both as an entrepreneur and as part of the leadership team of a large corporation gives him excellent perspective. I’m confident that his experience will be of immense value to Ameritest and our clients.”
Young will continue in his role as CEO.
