UK — Bryan Atkin, co-founder of Breaking Blue (formerly RS Consulting), died last week at the age of 72 following a battle with leukaemia.
Atkin, who served as partner of Cello Group, co-founded RS Consulting in 1984 and was chairman of the board.
A graduate of LSE, Atkin had 40 years of agency experience in industrial, commercial and institutional research. He was a leading thinker on product development, channel management, pricing strategy, market segmentation and customer satisfaction and loyalty tracking.
"Anyone who met Bryan will remember him as a force of nature, an inspirational and innovative researcher who was honest to the core – a tough act to follow," said Rachel Cope, director at Breaking Blue. "Retired but never forgotten he left an indelible mark on Breaking Blue and these values remain at the heart of all we do."

…… My beloved Bryan died peacefully on Thursday evening at The Hospice of St Francis surrounded by love and warmth with the four people he loved most holding his hands Mischke Mandy Cressie & me. The room was bursting with love joy and sorrow, joy for a life lived to the full, enhancing the lives of those he touched. Thank you Bryan for the privilege of sharing it with you. We would like to share the 'experience strength and hope' of our journey and determination to "Dance in the Rain". press on the link below ... http://bit.ly/2cEOqGL His daughter, Mischke made a short film this morning - press the link here …. https://vimeo.com/183117509 let it download fully before watching. We will inform everyone of the date, time and venue of his funeral - (our celebration of his life).

To be forwarded an invitation to the Memorial please email lindy@castlewharf.com or call me on the number below ..... We look forward to seeing you at 3pm on Sunday 9th October. Sadly there is absolutely no parking here, but it is a Sunday so easier to find space. I got permission for you to use the station car park but there is a charge! You could use either the Waitrose or Tesco car parks which are very close. There are also a number of car parking places round Berkhamsted Castle. Do allow enough time to find parking! We are six minutes walk from Berkhamsted station. Berkhamsted is 35minutes from Euston and there is a regular train service. The Warehouse is down a driveway between 23 and 24 Ravens Lane. Please wear bright colours - Bryan would have hated everyone in black. rsvp please to mandy_atkin@hotmail.com asap so that we have an idea of numbers! Lindy, and Bryan’s treasured daughters Mandy, Cressie and Mischke look forward to welcoming you and hearing your memories.
