US— Nielsen’s annual revenue in 2010 was up as much as 6.7% to $5.13bn, according to preliminary figures released today.
At the lower end of the expected revenue range, sales were up 6.3% to $5.11bn, while operating income for the year is in the region of $715m and $735m. No estimates for net income were provided.
The early release of figures comes as a supplement to the company’s initial public offering documents, which were filed last week. The company is looking to raise $1.5bn to pay down debt by selling off a 20% stake.
Final results are due to be published in late February.
