UK – Media giant News Corp is looking at putting video advertising platform, Unruly, up for sale.
According to Sky News, News Corp has been working with bankers to prepare for selling the adtech company, which it bought for £115m in 2015. Following several approaches about a potential takeover, News Corp is looking to auction it.
Unruly handles News Corp’s digital advertising inventory. During the four years it has been under News Corp control, Unruly has added new products including emotional intelligence tools as well as expanding its business into new regions.
Sarah Wood, Scott Button and Matt Cooke founded Unruly in 2006 and while it’s headquaters are in the UK, it has additional offices in Australia, India, Japan and the US.
