US— Nick Shore has been appointed senior vice president of strategic insights and research at broadcaster MTV, where he will lead research efforts across all brands.
Shore has spent a 20-year career working for big-name brands including Johnson & Johnson, PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, Motorola, Nickelodeon and FX.
He also ran his own brand agency, Nick and Paul Inc, and had a spell at New York-based strategic consulting agency the Way Group.
Shore will report to MTV’s general manager Stephen Friedman, who said: “He can help us dive even deeper into the hearts, minds and lives of this generation and uncover new truths that will guide the next chapter of MTV’s evolution.”
