MRSI names new president

Arora (pictured) takes over the role from Pravin Shekar, chairman and chief executive at Krea, who has been president since 2017. Shekar continues to serve on the managing committee.

MRSI has also appointed managing committee members, Hindustan Unilever Limited's Manish Makhijani and Sunder Muthuraman of Kantar Analytics, as vice-presidents. Nielsen’s Sanjay Pal has been named secretary and K. Vinay Kumar of Datawise Management has become treasurer.

Shekar said: “The new president, Sandeep Arora, has clearly laid out the plans for the next couple of years, building on existing activities as well adding on newer initiatives including greater government coordination.”
