MRS MD joins Impress board
Harding (pictured) leads on standards, policy and public affairs activities for the MRS, working with government departments and global institutions. She is also chair of the Global Business Research Network (GRBN) and vice-president of the European Research Federation (Efamro).
The MRS and Impress worked together to develop joint opinion polling guidance for journalists ahead of the 2019 general election.
Harding said: “I am pleased to be joining the board as the organisation moves into the next stage of its development and to be formally supporting its work to uphold standards and promote best practice in journalism.”
Impress has also appointed Cordella Bart-Stewart, director of the Black Solicitors Network, to its board. Bart-Stewart is a fee paid judge of the First Tier Tribunal and a chartered manager and companion of the Chartered Management Institute.
Walter Merricks, chair of Impress, said: “Cordella and Debrah have exceptional skills and experience to contribute to Impress. I look forward to working with them on the next stage of our development.”
