UK – London-based communications group MHP Group has launched a brand strategy division that will focus on behavioural insight, strategy, design and employee engagement.

Led by MHP Group’s head of strategy, Kate Gomes (pictured top right), the team, Reverb, will bring together six staff from MHP and sister agency Mischief.

The division offers brand development, covering narrative, purpose, visual identity and tone of voice. The company said the new team would take an approach led by behavioural science.

At launch, the team is working with clients in the consumer technology and energy sectors, as well as a health non-governmental organisation.

Gomes said: “It is not enough for brands to build identities their customers and stakeholders love – they also have to be shared and talked about.

“By launching Reverb to help tell more authentic and culturally relevant stories, we are responding both to client demand and audience expectation.”

MHP Group comprises three communications agencies: MHP, Mischief and Accord.

The forming of a brand strategy offer follows the group’s launch of a team focused on employee engagement earlier this year.
