Metaverse analysis company launched

UK – The founder of augmented reality (AR) business Gorilla in the Room has built a new data analytics platform that will help standardise measurement of the metaverse.

CORTEXR will focused on the ‘extended reality’ industry, with a focus on AR, virtual reality (VR) and the metaverse, which is defined as an immersive virtual world that is facilitated by the use of VR and AR.

The new company has launched a plug-in for 3D engines and extended reality platforms that collects sensor data from handsets and headsets with an intelligence engine analysing real-time spatial data in the cloud.

Developers and their clients then see data visualisations in prebuilt dashboards to analyse performance, optimise content and measure success.

Jonathan Barrowman, chief executive at CORTEXR, said: “CORTEXR solves a significant challenge for the extended reality industry with standardised and scalable data analytics to unlock data intelligence across all project and sectors.”
