Merger for user experience agencies Foolproof and Flow

UK— Foolproof and Flow Interactive, two user experience design and research agencies working in digital media, have merged. Foolproof’s co-founders Peter Ballard and Tom Wood become majority shareholders in the enlarged business.

Flow’s owner Meriel Lenfestey joins the shareholder board of Foolproof. Flow’s London office becomes the consolidated base in the capital while Foolproof’s Norwich office is retained, as are both companies’ brands.

Combined, the business employs 70 staff and has an annual turnover of more than £5.5m.

Job losses are not expected as a result of the deal, according to a statement. Lenfestey said: “This is very much a move for growth.”
