US – Insight and professional services group Maru has expanded into the US with the opening of a Maru/edr New York office as part of its global investment.
The new office will be led by Ted Chen (pictured) who has been a senior member of the US customer experience research solution team.
It has also rebranded its community insights research division Maru/VCR&C to Maru/Matchbox. The company had been operating as Maru/VCR&C since being acquired from Vision Critical in April this year.
Maru/Matchbox has about 250 employees in offices in London, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Vancouver and Toronto.
Ged Parton, Maru Group CEO, said of the US venture: “This is an important step as we become a fast and strategic global insights partner for businesses. Our investment in Maru/edr North America cements our commitment to technology-driven voice of the customer research and we’re delighted to have Ted on board.”
