Maru/Blue hires Hill for strategy role

CANADA – Data services firm, Maru/Blue, has appointed Mellissa Hill as director of strategy and development.

Hill (pictured) has more than 10 years’ experience working at panel companies. She was most recently director of customer development for Critical Mix based in Toronto and has previously worked at Research Now and Toluna.

Maru Group CEO, Ged Parton, said: “Mellissa’s experience is a perfect fit for our innovative, technology-powered data services offer.”

Maru Group launched its panel business Maru/Blue last year, covering respondents in the US and Canada with its panel communities, Maru Voice Canada and Springboard America. It had previously been part of Maru/Matchbox.

It is based in Toronto and led by Rob Berger. He added: “We’re excited to have Mellissa become part of our growing team. Her enthusiasm is contagious. And her professionalism is legendary.”
