UK— Lumi Mobile is making its mobile survey platform available to researchers as a self-service tool, called Lumi Survey.
Using a web-based dashboard, users can create surveys and distribute invites via text message to respondents, who will be prompted to download Lumi’s app, versions of which are available for iOS, Android, Blackberry and Symbian. Internet-enabled feature phones are also compatible with the Lumi platform.
Capabilities on offer include GPS location and validation; multimedia capture, upload and display; QR code access; barcode scanning and passive meter integration. Data is available in real time through the dashboard and Lumi charges users per-survey complete.
Clients of Lumi Mobile include Kantar, Ipsos, the Media Behaviour Institute, Mediaset and SVT.
