LSE picks Opinium to study youth politics in Europe

New business UK

UK— The London School of Economics’ (LSE) Enterprise Team has appointed Opinium Research to carry out a study across seven European countries examining young people’s political attitudes.

Opinium will deploy a combination of face-to-face interviews, focus groups and a comparative mass survey with young people in France, Finland, the UK, Hungary, Austria, Spain and Bulgaria.

The project has been commissioned by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Education and Culture in partnership with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency and will look to capture the perceptions, desires and behaviours of young people in the context of political participation.
