US— Government procurement body the General Services Administration has handed Knowledge Networks a 20-year survey services contract, effectively pre-approving the online researcher as a supplier to federal agencies.
Areas of expertise covered by the contract include survey planning, survey design and development, data analysis and the preparation of survey methodology reports.
Knowledge Network’s CEO Simon Kooyman said, “Now federal agencies will be able to work with KN more easily, and the result is sure to be important guidance for policy making as well as savings for taxpayers.”
The contract stretches over a “five-year base” with three renewable five-year options to follow.
The GSA supplies products and communications for US government offices and develops government-wide cost-minimising policies. It aims to “help federal agencies better serve the public by offering, at best value, superior workplaces, expert solutions, acquisition services and management policies.”
