US – John Gilfeather has announced he is re-opening his research agency specialising in corporate reputation, brand measurement, B2B audiences and public opinion, John Gilfeather & Associates.
Gilfeather (pictured) had put his private practice on hold six years ago when he joined Koski Research, a boutique financial services industry firm.
He started his career at Yankelovich and became managing partner in charge of all custom research and multi-sponsored studies. He has also worked at Roper (now GfK) as vice-chairman and head of Roper Public Affairs, and also executive vice-president of stakeholder management at TNS North America.
Gilfeather said: “I am delighted to be able to continue the work I am passionate about. John Gilfeather & Associates will take on full research projects and parts of projects – questionnaires, analyses and reporting. I look forward to training younger research staff as part of the practice.”
He is also past chair of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO, now the Insights Association), past president of the Market Research Council (MRC) and a founding member of the Institute for Public Relations Measurement Commission.
