Ipsos creates Hispanic research centre in US

US— Ipsos’s public affairs practice has launched a dedicated research centre to study the US’s burgeoning Hispanic population.

The Hispanic Research Centre aims to work with public, private and non-profit organisations “to help them better understand this key demographic segment, and reflect its diversity,” said senior research manager Cynthia Pelayo.

Pelayo works within Ipsos’s Omnibus Services team, which has added telephone and online surveys of the Hispanic population to its offering in the past year.

“We’ve had fantastic media pick-up from several studies we’ve released this year,” said Julio Franco (pictured), a senior research manager with Ipsos Public Affairs. “It just goes to show how much of an opportunity there is out there for companies willing to invest in research among the Hispanic community.”
